Cardcaptor Sakura

Cardcaptor Sakura
This is Sakura Kinomoto, i am soooo addicted to this anime right now i actually bought a dvd of the entire episode. Everyday at work i never miss a episode which i watch using my phone. I love the funny scene and the fighting scene. So here, Cardcaptor Sakura is my featured anime.
MORE INFORMATION
Cardcaptor Sakura (カードキャプターさくら, Kādokyaputā Sakura?), also known as Card Captor Sakura (with the space) and often abbreviated as CCS, is a magical girl manga series from the well-known all-female artist team CLAMP. Cardcaptor Sakura is published in Japan by Kodansha and was serialized in Nakayoshi. The series consists of twelve volumes. The manga is well-known for its emphasis on the shōjo genre of the series; nearly every page has detailed flowers, bubbles, or sparkles around the main characters. It won the noted Seiun Award for best manga in 2001.
The
anime television series (1998-2000) based on the manga consists of 70 half-hour episodes (spread over three seasons), two theatrically released movies, and several specials. The second season of TV series won the Animage Anime Grand Prix prize in 1999. Nelvana produced an English dub of the anime series, titled Cardcaptors, which aired in English-speaking countries.[1] An unedited English translation, bearing the original title, Cardcaptor Sakura, was broadcast in its English-language networks by the anime television network Animax. Cardcaptor Sakura has also been released in North America (but not the UK or Australia) on unedited and subtitled DVDs under its original title.
Several characters from Cardcaptor Sakura are reworked for use in another Clamp series,
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. These characters share similar appearances and traits to their Cardcaptor Sakura inspirations, but they are not the same characters, rather alternate universe versions.

You're In Love

You're In Love by Wilson Phillips

Open the door and come in
I'm so glad to see you my friend
Don't know how long it has been
Having those feelings again.

And now i see that you're so happy
And ooh, it just sets me free
And i'd like to see
Us as good of friends
As we used to be

Chorus:
Aah, my love, aah
You're in love
That's the way
It should be
'cause i want you to be happy
You're in love
And i know
That you're not in love with me
Ooh it's enough
For me to know
That you're in love
Now i'll let you go
'cause i know
That you're in love

Sometimes it's hard to believe
That you're never coming back to me
I've had this dream that you'd always be by my side
Oh i could have died.

But now i see that you're so happy
And ooh, it just sets me free.
And i'd like to see
Us as good of friends
As we used to be

(chorus)

I tried to find you but you were so far away
I was praying that fate would bring you back to me
Someday, someday, someday... ooh, you're in love

Ooh it's enough
For me to know
That you're in love
Now i'll let you go
'cause i know
That you're in love

Facebook

Karla Tiffin De Jose's Facebook profile

So i was watching TV the other day and they were talking about Facebook and so i got curious and i went in and check it on the internet and i saw that its just like Friendster where you could actually create a profile and add friends thou the only difference is instead of create designs on your page its more informational. You cant put CSS designs or codes on your profile on Facebook but you could share links, thoughts, comments and upload pictures.

So to those who's intrested about Facebook just read further.. ayt?

Facebook is a social networking website launched on February 4, 2004.[1] The free-access website is privately owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. Users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves. The website's name refers to the paper facebooks depicting members of a campu that some community US colleges and preparatory schools give to incoming students, faculty, and staff as a way to get to know other people on campus.

Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook while he was a student at Harvard University.[4] Website membership was initially limited to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges in the Ivy League. It later expanded further to include any university student, then high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. The website currently has more than 100 million active users worldwide.[5]

Facebook has met with some controversy over the past few years. It has been blocked intermittently in several countries including Syria[6] and Iran.[7] It has also been banned at many places of work to increase productivity.[8] Privacy has also been an issue, and it has been compromised several times. It is also facing several lawsuits from a number of Zuckerberg's former classmates, who claim that Facebook had stolen their source code and other intellectual property.

Girl On Pedestal

So i finally found this again! was browsing my first blog site.. its a really nice story! its quite long but worth it!

Saturday, March 18th, 2006
Credit To: Tristan Cafe

From one fight to another, from one kind deed to
another, I always found a reason to stay — and to
keep on believing. But now after the last few drops of
tears have dried, I have finally found my place. Out
of his life.
I’ve always tried to help friends get
through their romantic dilemmas by asking them, "Is it
worth it?" Now I am haunted by the same question and
my very active mind can come up with only two words:
IT WAS. I’ve come to terms with the fact that this is
my stop. This is where I get off. This is when I cut
the rope.
I will always have very fond memories of
Ryan, and the man he almost was. I can recall the few
big fights and the not-so-interesting disputes we had,
but I choose to remember with a smile the four years
we were close to each other.
There was always a reason to keep the
relationship, the friendship that forever was just
that, friendship. There was more than one attempt to
take it to another level, but always I found myself
where I had left off: the girlfriend substitute, the
meantime girl. Always almost, but not quite.
Now I find myself running out of reasons. I
have come face to face with the reality that he was
never the best friend that I was to him all along. It
was just a label, a term I could use to describe what
he was to me and what we had for each other. I wanted
more. And it took me this long to finally realize that
I could not have what I wanted. Not with Ryan. So
what’s the point of settling for mere friendship?
I always advise my friends, "Know what you
want and stick to it." I have always known what I
wanted, but unfortunately, he didn’t want me the same
way.
Once again, I am going trough this tug-of-war over
what I want and what I deserve, and I know I deserve
more. After my true feelings surfaced, I began to
acknowledge the fact that I was fixated on his looks.
The rest was just part of the illusion I had created
in my mind, just like the reasons that were not
supposed to be there.
Painful, yes, but still bearable. When you
have finally run out of answers and all that’s
comforting you are mere possibilities, won’t you get
tired, too? I always ask; I never assume.
If there was any beauty in our relationship,
it was that we were conscious about telling the truth,
no matter how silly, foolish or painful. All along he
was telling me that i was just a friend. Some of his
actions seemed to say otherwise, but that was, of
course, to someone who chose to see more. He would
tell our friends that I was the ideal, or that if ever
he would get into a serious relationship, it would
have to be someone of my caliber or better. So there I
was again, the girl on a pedestal, but never in his
arms.
Despite all this, I stayed on, hoping that
I would in time be able to serve my purpose even as
his friend, not necessarily his best friend, just a
friend. Why? Because I found fulfillment in making him
know them man that he was to me. Because we were both
convenient. There were good and bad reasons, but after
all that was said and done, it was because I was happy
most of all. Then I would wake up one morning not
feeling the same way anymore, less hopeful but more
certain that I wanted more.
I have given it enough time — for us to
grow, for us to be the better persons that we are now.
I would like to think that I gave it enough chance
already. I would like to believe that someday when our
paths cross again, we will see each other in the arms
of people who deserve us best, who are willing to love
us more than we did each other, people who are meant
to be "chosen" and not someone we had to settle for.
I have given it my best — all I have got,
in fact — and I can only give so much. The same with
Ryan. If it were right, I wouldn’t be trying so hard.
Now I have reached this decision, the
decision to say enough. And when you say enough, you
have to mean its over.
It has been a struggle. In my heart, though,
I know that I will be okay. I have to be. My best
friend, whom I visit during lunch breaks at the
nearest church, reminds me that the shortest distance
between my struggle and relief is as short as the
distance between my knees and the floor.
Funny how when we were all little, we could
not wait for the day when we would finally grow up
and fall in love — only to realize that it was so
much easier to deal with scarred knees than broken
hearts. When my sister told me this, I realized that I
was no longer a little girl. I have scarred my knees
more than once and had my heart broken thrice. But I
am still looking forward to the falling and rising,
and everything in between.

Skim

Skimboarding (or skimming) is a boardsport in which a board is used to ride on an outgoing wave. In Australia it has always been known as skiffle boarding and experienced popularity from the 1950's to 70's with circular boards, and has more recently increased in popularity with more shaped and curved boards. It can be particularly dangerous because it is conducted in very shallow water, riders who fall risk injuries such as dislocations or broken bones.

Urban-Rivals

A friend from DeviantART gave this link, and i kinda like the game just started playing today. Im currently on Level 10. So since im into this game, im gonna feature it on my blogsite.

Urban Rivals is a free online multi-player card game, although some features (mostly the selling of cards on the market and trading with other players) require monetary purchase of Credits (see below) which can be purchased for as low as 2 Euros. Each card represents a character (some of which are based on real people or well-known fictional characters). Each character has a specific Power and Damage, and belongs to a clan. Some cards have abilities that are either triggered or countered by another card's ability. However, a card should be at a certain level to reach that ability.

i was at the hospital visiting my mom, she's admitted for 5 days now. and i was :teevee: (watching) this movie at HBO or Cinemax with Robert De Niro (Ned) and Sean Penn were they played as a couple of escaped convicts on the run find refuge with the Church when they are mistaken for two priests and i was moved with this quote when Seam Penn (Jim) give his speech infront of many people during a mass celebration.
Jim: [as Father Brown, he is asked to give a speech to the town. He reads from a brochure stuck in his Bible that says "An Encounter with a Bear"] Have you ever felt alone, with no one to rely on? Danger on every hand, in a world fraught with danger, and when I looked into my pocket, what did I find? What did I find? [flips the brochure over - it's an ad for guns]

Jim: Nothing. There's nothing there. It's all in your head. Look, they can take the money from you. They can take the position from you. People turn their back on you. Everything happens to everybody! And you ain't gonna find nothing in your pocket to stave it off. Nothing can stave it off! Power doesn't do it. Because you never have enough. Money? I don't know. You know anyone who's got enough money? [holds up his Bible]

Jim: Is God good? I don't know. All I know is... something may give you comfort. And maybe you deserve it. If it comforts you to believe in God, then you do it. That's your business.

..Hope you'll be move too

Death Note

I heard of Death Note 2 years ago, back in college however i just watched the movie today and it wasnt a suprised i loved the movie. I heard alot from people that its a very nice movie, nice twist. Cool! So since i loved it so much im gonna featured Death Note.

Death Note (デスノート Desu Nōto) is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata.[1] The series centers on Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook dropped on Earth by Ryuk, a shinigami ("death god"), that allows Light to kill anyone by writing the victim's name in the notebook. The story follows Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook, and the complex conflict between him and his opponents.[2][3]

Death Note was first serialized in 108 chapters by Shueisha in the Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2003 to May 2006.[4][5] The series was also published in tankōbon (paperback) format in Japan starting in May 2004 and ending in October 2006,[6] and since then has been translated internationally.[7] The series was adapted into live-action films[8] on November 3, 2006,[9] and on February 2, 2008.[10]anime series aired in Japan from October 3, 2006, to June 26, 2007.[11] A novel based on the series, written by Nisio Isin, was released in Japan on August 1, 2006.[12] released in Japan on June 17, 2006,

The 2 Main Characters:

Light Yagami (Kira) (夜神 月 Yagami Raito)
The protagonist of Death Note, Light is an extremely intelligent, popular and athletic, but bored 17-year old student. When he finds the Death Note, dropped in the human world by Ryuk (a shinigami), he decides to use it to kill all criminals and earns the title Kira. His ultimate goal is to cleanse the world of evil to create a utopia and then reign over this new world as its god.

L (エル Eru, L Lawliet)
L is the world's top-rated detective, tasked with tracking down and arresting Kira. As such, he is Light's arch-enemy. His disheveled appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. L has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner, snacking on sweets constantly, and holding objects in a peculiar manner. He often takes drastic strategies to confuse and force the hand of his opponents. On several occasions he has willingly disclosed several of his weaknesses to Kira at the risk of his own life in the hopes that he would lure him into a trap.
